Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama will launch Jakarta One card next June. The card can be used by capital citizens for transaction like Transjakarta, parking, BPJS, Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) and so on.
It could be launched on June 2
“It could be launched on June 2,” he said, Wednesday (4/13).
He added that the card will be disbursed in stages and it is hoped to complete in 2019. He as has collected data of citizens to get the card.
Parking Meter Becomes Pilot of Jakarta One Card“Bank Indonesia said it would complete in 2020, but my target is 2019,” he added.
The card is already integrated with many banks. So it will ease the citizens transaction. This program is based on Octopus Card, provided by Hongkong government.
